Originally knit with Mary Maxim’s Knitting Worsted yarn, which offered approximately 240 yards per 4 oz skein at that time. But now, with a wide variety of worsted yarns to choose from, you can customize this project to suit your style. Keep in mind that yardage may differ. All you need are U.S. sizes 2 (2.75 mm), and 4 (3.5 mm) needles to begin!
