When you wrap the scarf around your neck, you can pull one end through the slit that is parallel to the pattern. The large and soft scarf doubles as a shawl and will either cling to the body or drape beautifully around it when you put your arms through the sophisticated slits hidden in the design.
This pattern is designed for einrúm E+2 yarn or E+4 yarn. The border for the perpendicular slit is made first and put aside. The scarf–shawl is worked flat.
The lovely pattern booklet includes instructions in English, Icelandic and Danish.  We love the built in needle gauge!
