Originally featured in a 1960s catalog, this pattern used Mary Maxim Teardrop Orlon Wintuk yarn (a sport-weight yarn), which offered 105 yards on 1 oz skeins. To craft the booties, you’ll need a crochet hook size U.S. 4 (1.75 mm), as well as knitting needles sizes 4 (3.5 mm), 5 (3.75 mm), and 7 (4.5 mm).
