Hand Turned Yarn Bowl – Walnut & Elm
This exquisite bowl is hand-turned from locally & sustainably sourced (non-farmed) Walnut with a central band of Elm! 

This has been turned from a solid block of Walnut and a solid block of gorgeous Elm before being sanded to a super smooth finish. A shellac-based polish is applied to give the bowl a deep, long lasting slidey-shine.

This bowl is a true one-off!

Generously sized:

  • Height 5″ (12.7cm)
  • External diameter 8.5″ (21.5cm)
  • Internal diameter up to 7.5″ (19cm) at the widest point
  • 1.6kg!! The weight gives the bowl stability, and unlike ceramic bowls won’t break nearly as easily!

This heirloom quality yarn bowl has been slowly and skilfully crafted from local hardwoods, and every piece is totally unique.
