  • Inspired by Origami, Raingelt uses the technique of incorporating vertical and diagonal folds in the knitted fabric. Another gorgeous design by Rastus Hsu.

    Your kit includes:
    • 5 skeins of Opus (shown in Maya)
    • Optional PDF Pattern (delivered by email via Ravelry. Include your Rav name in Notes with your order if you’d like us to add to your Rav library)

    You will also need:

    • 3.25mm (US 3) 100cm/40” circular needle for working flat
    • Tapestry Needle

    Gauge ( DO NOT block the swatch)
    26sts / 50rows = 10cm (4”) in garter stitch, using 3.25mm needles, unblocked.

    Approx. 155cm (61“) wingspan X 84cm (33“) deep.

    Opus is super lush. “Buttery” is the perfect adjective for this yarn, which masquerades as a fine, cool cashmere but is in fact a hardy blend of merino and baby alpaca. It’s technically a Fingering/4-Ply weight, but also knits up perfectly as a Sport weight since it’s so lofty.
