Originally our Mary Maxim Mellowspun with 174 yds per skein was used. Click the link, and you will find our large selection of sportweight yarns! Also needed for the crochet version a crochet hook size U.S. I-9 (5.5 mm) and for the knitted version a 36″ Circular Ndl. Size 8 (5 mm). Make great gifts too!
