• We LOVE this pattern by Anne Ventzel, and think it’s beyond perfect in Silky Twist by Artyarns!

  Silky Twist is hand painted in the most amazing colourways. The blend of silk and merino produces luxurious drape and weight, but also holds its shape.

  Our kits feature 6 or 2 colours. We have more colourways on their way though, so feel free to put your own combos together too!

  ROBINIA is worked from the top down with some unique and interesting short rows, and stranded colourwork. The short rows create a gorgeous flattering fit.

  About The Yarn:
  
  This worsted weight wonder yarn is truly unique. Airy, kitten soft, lustrous and spun with a bouncy twist that ensures no pilling, but lots of silky drape too!
  
  The exceptionally high quality Silk provides shine and the super fine Merino gives it all the squishy softness you could hope for. 
  
  And as always, each skein is hand-painted by artisans at the Artyarns Studio. 
  
  We have chosen colours that we love best for one skein accessories as well as entire luxury sweaters!
  
  Needle sizes 5-8mm (US 8 – 11) show this yarn off best, at a gauge of approx 12 – 18 stitches per 10cm (4″).

  Ingredients: 20% Mulberry Silk 80% Ultra Fine Merino

  Care: We recommend hand washing non-superwash, hand-dyed yarns. Although Artyarns are very consistent with their colourways, all hand-painted skeins are unique. If your project uses more than one skein, you may want to alternate / stripe the skeins. Block / wash in lukewarm water with some wool wash, and lay flat to dry. Artyarns set their dyes with steaming and thoroughly rinsing but differing water temperatures and chemicals can cause some dye to bleed in any yarn. If you’re pairing light and dark colours, we recommend washing your swatch first to test for colour-fastness.
