Royal I is the knitters dream cometrue. The very best selection of alpaca, with 18.5 – 19.5 microns (from only 1% of global alpaca wool production).
Pure, super high quality alpaca. This yarn will give you ultimate drape with unique and luxurious weighty “hug” that only alpaca can provide. There is absolutely zero itch in this beautiful yarn.
Illimani claim that this yarn is as soft as cashmere.  We disagree.  It’s even softer than cashmere.  And with the added bonus of increased durability since it’s an Alpaca.

Illimani work along with international aid organisations to support artisans in the Bolivian and Peruvian Andes commercialize their products in the North American markets.
